Printing DHL shipping labels with a thermal label printer on Apple Mac OSX

Peninsula Thermal Driver Printing DHL Shipping Labels Once you have received your pdf label from DHL, save it to your computer.

Making sure your thermal printer is plugged in,turned on and connected to your computer,open the Thermal Printer Utility Follow the on-screen steps until you reach the Label/Page Sizes screen and click “Add Other Size Label”.

Enter 4 for the width and 7 for the height, name your label “DHL” and click “Add” to create a label 4 inches wide by 7 inches high.

Click the "Next" button.

On the “Please choose what applications you are printing from” page, select "Preview”.

Click the "Next" button.

Drag and drop the PDF file you downloaded earlierinto the window and select your label size from the drop-down menu.

Rotate and scale the image using the controls at the bottom of the window.

And drag to correctly positioned theactual label section of the PDF.

When it is correctly positioned, click "Save".

So that you can quickly select this printer in future,you can give it a descriptive name.

You can make as many other printersas you need, using this procedure, and nameeach one for ease of selection.

This one is specifically for DHL Shipping labels.

When you are happy with the name, click "Next".

Click “Install Printer”.

Select “My Extracted Label”.

Click “Print”.

When your label has printed correctly, click “Yes”.

The installation will take a few seconds and thenthe "Installation Complete" message will show.

The printer is now installed and you may closethe Thermal Printer Utility.

The setup is now complete.

Now open your original pdf in Preview.

Press Command-P or select “Print” from the “File” menu.

Select your new printer from the “Printer” menu.

Select “Extract From Page” from the “Paper Size” menu.

You can save these settings as a Preset if you wish.

Click “Print” to print your labels with printer we just installed.
